About UConn Football
The University of Connecticut, commonly referred to as UConn, established their Division I Football program over a hundred years ago. The UConn football team have been apart of Division I-A since 2002. The UConn Huskies currently play in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). They play their home games at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. Each game, they have tens of thousands of fans in attendance all cheering their team on. You can always find UConn's mascot Jonathan the Husky in the stands exciting the crowd. Head Coach Randy Edsall, who moved to Maryland to coach after leaving in 2011, returned to coach the UConn Huskies for the 2017-2018 season.
