Gloria Trevi is a Mexican singer songwriter born in the late '60s. During the late '80s. she gained success after releasing her debut solo album '¿Qué Hago Aquí?' in 1988 in the wake of her girl group disbandment. Numerous albums followed in the '90s, but Trevi announced her retirement in 1996. In 2000, her longtime producer, her and a backup singer were arrest on charges of corrupting minors. While in prison, she announced her pregnancy to the producer. This, along with a myriad of other public scandals, have encircled Trevi's entire career. Since being released from jail due to lack of evidence, Trevi has released multiple albums in the new millennium. Her latest, 'Versus,' is a collab album with Alejandra Guzman that dropped in 2017.
